Inaugural Renströmmen Golf Day

Hillwood Golf Academy proudly celebrates the success of the inaugural Renströmmen Golf Day, held on 31 August 2024 at the stunning Norrköping Söderköping Golfklubb (NSGK) in Sweden. The event, a collaboration with NSGK, raised vital funds to support Hillwood’s mission of empowering at-risk youth through golf, leadership training, and education.

A Collaboration Rooted in Generosity

This memorable day was made possible through the exceptional efforts of Soren Ajdert, Jens Berglund, and Fredrik Lager, whose dedication and vision brought the event to life. Jens, instrumental in coordinating the details, ensured every aspect of the day ran smoothly, while Fredrik, the CEO of NSGK, extended invaluable support by hosting the event at the prestigious golf club. Their combined leadership set the stage for a truly impactful day.

“Swing and Make a Change”

Under the theme “Swing and Make a Change,” the Golf Day welcomed 27 teams of golfers to enjoy a day of camaraderie, competition, and giving back. Highlights of the event included:

• Team Play: Golfers competed in a friendly tournament across NSGK’s pristine fairways.
• Skill Challenges: Longest drive and closest-to-the-pin contests added excitement.
• Extra Contributions: At one designated hole, teams could make additional donations to Hillwood’s programs in exchange for strategic advantages in the game.
