Our vision is to see young people be made whole, free from the temptations of drugs and gangsterism.
Hillwood Golf Academy will be a home for at-risk youth and a place of safety where they will find hope, love and a healthy sense of family.
Mission
To achieve this wholeness the academy will focus on three main development areas:
- Physical: Golf Coaching
- Personal: Leadership Training
- Education: Tuition
These three areas will groom the student to be disciplined, focused and hone a sense of self-worth desperately lacking in youth living in these areas.

Brian Felix
Founder & CEO
Brian is the founder and CEO of Hillwood. Brian has a passion for youth development and has been doing so for over 25 years. His main responsibilities include all executive and
administrative responsibilities, coaching and partner development.
Carol Felix
Education Specialist
Carol has been an educator for over 40 years. With a Masters in Education from the University of the Western Cape, she will assist with tutoring and the academic performance of youth.
Kurt Stripp
Director
Kurt is a professional golf coach. He will assist Brian in the coaching and grooming of all players.
Alan Walbrugh
Director
Alan is a keen golfer and passionate about youth development. As a businessman Alan will impart leadership skills and entrepreneurship.
Kevin Moolman
Director
Kevin is an educator and has been teaching youth for over 30 years. He will take responsibility
for enrolment and tutoring.
